A student was killed after infighting between activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League at Sylhet’s Madan Mohan College today.The victim was identified as Abdul Alim, 19, a second year student of
the college and an activist of BCL, reports our Moulvibazar
correspondent.The infighting ensued from an altercation at the second floor of the
academic building around noon, witnesses and police said. Alim was
stabbed during the row and later was rushed to a hospital. He succumbed to his stab wounds while attending treatment at Osmani
Medical College Hospital around 3:00pm, said Sohel Ahmed,
officer-in-charge of Sylhet Kotwali Police Station.Police filed a case in this regard with Kotwali Model Police Station around 6:00pm, accusing two students of the college.Meanwhile, police arrested the two accused Pranajit Das, 21, and Basu Dey, 24, in connection with the murder.Both of them are second-year-student of the college, said
