Can Khaleda Zia participate in 2019 election?

 

Information Minister of Bangladesh Hasanul Haq Inu said that Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) chairperson, ex-PM Khaleda Zia won’t participate the general election, to be held in 2019. Inu also describe Khaleda Zia as a queen of arson.  In response to his remarks, BNP spokesperson Asaduzzaman Ripon, today said, “A blueprint is on to keep the BNP leaders including Khaleda Zia from the elections through filing false cases against them.’’ He also expressed his concern over getting justice in the cases.  He said “If the government implements such blueprint to keep the BNP leaders from the polls, they (govt) will have to face dare consequences.”
